## 展覧会概要

台中で初となる、真鍋大度の大規模個展。台中市立美術館の建築空間に合わせて特別に制作された新作インスタレーションを発表します。AI、人間の身体、空間認識を主題に、テクノロジーと人間の関係を探究する没入型の三作品です。

Daito Manabe’s first large-scale solo exhibition in Taichung. Specially commissioned installations respond to the architectural spaces of Taichung Art Museum. Three immersive works explore the relations between technology and people through AI, the human body, and spatial perception.

### 世界は、関係の持続から生まれる。

機械が一秒のうちに何千もの未来を探索できる一方で、人間の経験は、信頼を築き、迷い、癒やされ、記憶するための、よりゆるやかな時間の中で展開する。本展は、この異なる時間尺度から出発し、関係そのものがどのように時間を生むのかを考える。

身体、エネルギー、情報、空間、時間のあいだに続く関係から、形態、振る舞い、環境が立ち現れる。出来事は履歴として蓄積され、その履歴が新しい状態と可能性を生み出す。映像と音は、変化し続ける世界の内部状態を知覚可能にするための、二つの窓である。

### A world emerges through the duration of relations.

While machines can explore thousands of possible futures in a second, human experience unfolds through slower durations: the time needed to build trust, hesitate, heal, and remember. This exhibition begins with these differing scales and considers how relationships themselves generate time.

Forms, behaviours, and environments arise through ongoing relations among bodies, energy, information, space, and time. Events accumulate as history, and that history generates new states and possibilities. Image and sound are two windows onto the changing internal state of this world.

## 展示構成

展示は、独立した作品の集合ではなく、異なる関係のあり方を通して変化し続ける一つの時間構造として展開する。

### Room A — Life Beyond Simulation

**日本語タイトル:** シミュレーションを超える生命  
**形式:** 壁面と床面を映像に包まれる没入型映像空間

相互作用し続ける世界を計算し、その過程から映像と音を生成する。

世界はあらかじめ定められた完成形ではない。運動、エネルギー、情報、記憶、環境、時間が、一つの連続した関係のなかで互いに影響を与え、絶えず世界を形成し直していく。

作者が設計するのは映像でも音でもなく、それらを生み出す世界の条件である。局所的な変化は環境へ伝播し、変化した環境が新たな関係を生む。その循環のなかで、形態、リズム、集積、分岐、均衡が自律的に立ち現れる。

*Computation is performed not to reach a finished result, but to sustain a world in continuous transformation.*

### Room B — Ecologies of Memory

**日本語タイトル:** 記憶の生態系  
**形式:** 壁面3面を映像に囲まれる映像インスタレーション

観客の行動を環境の記憶として蓄積し、その履歴から変化し続ける生態系を生成する。

移動、滞留、接近、回避、密集、分散。空間で生じる行動は、時間、位置、速度、他者との関係として読み取られ、環境の密度、エネルギー、資源の流れ、境界の条件へ変換される。

観客が残す痕跡は、減衰しながら他者の履歴と混ざり、次に訪れる人と環境を構成する存在へ受け継がれる。観客は結果を見る者ではなく、世界が変化する条件に関与する。

*Across the exhibition, accumulated actions create the environmental history and memory of a place that can exist only once.*

### Room C — Space in Relation

**展示インデックス名:** Relational Sound Field  
**日本語タイトル:** 関係から生まれる空間の時間  
**形式:** 24台のスピーカーで構成されるサウンドインスタレーション

人々の存在によって、空間固有の時間が生まれていく過程を探究する。

展示空間に分散した24の知覚と発音の拠点は、人の移動、距離、方向、滞在を継続的に受け取る。近づく、離れる、立ち止まる、軌道が交差する。そのつど空間の条件が変化し、関係は音の位置、リズム、密度、残響、沈黙として現れる。

構成にあらかじめ定められた順序はない。複数の出会いが重なり、誰にも完全には制御できない音響的な状態をつくる。可視化されたコンソールは、その背後で変化し続ける関係の布置を示す。

*Here, time is produced through relation. It expands through waiting, contracts through movement, and changes shape as multiple presences coexist.*

## 会場

台中市西屯区の水湳経済貿易園区に位置する台中市立美術館は、美術館と公共図書館を融合した台湾初の文化複合施設です。建築は、SANAA（妹島和世・西沢立衛）と、Ricky Liu & Associates Architects+Plannersの協働により設計されました。

Located in the Shui-Nan Economic and Trade Park in Xitun District, Taichung, Taichung Art Museum is Taiwan’s first cultural complex to bring an art museum and a public library together. The building was designed through a collaboration between SANAA (Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa) and Ricky Liu & Associates Architects+Planners.

### 相互形成としての生命。

個体、環境、システムは時間のなかで互いを形づくり、共有された履歴から新たな可能性を生む。人間と機械の営みが深く絡み合う現在、本展は、注意を向け、応答し、関係を持続させることから、どのような共存を構成できるのかを考える。

### Life as mutual formation.

Individuals, environments, and systems shape one another over time, while shared histories generate new possibilities. As human and machine processes become increasingly intertwined, the exhibition considers what coexistence can be composed through attention, response, and sustained relation.
